First, I’ll start off with the bad news.

Wealthy Affiliate is increasing the price of it’s monthly membership.

Kyle of Wealthy Affiliate posted a message this morning in the member’s forum that said “THE PRICE AT WA IS GOING UP SIGNIFICANTLY”

Kyle explained the reasons for doing this and it basically boils down to a few things.

First, they have put a ton of money into the site in order to make it one of the premier sites for learning how to make money online.

Second, one of the biggest reason’s people don’t join is because it is too cheap. Yep, you heard me right! Too cheap!

People are naturally skeptical. And when they see something being offered for only $39 a month, they don’t think it could possibly be one of the top sites for learning how to make money online.

It’s funny how the skeptical mind works.

Now for the good news.

The date that the price increase takes effect has not been released yet, but it will be sometime in June.

If you get in the door prior to the increase, you will be grandfathered into the old pricing structure and will continue to pay only $39 a month, no matter what the membership cost increases too.

Are you on the fence? I would strongly suggest you consider joining before they raise the price.

I’m not sure what the new price is going to be and I’m certain the site will still be worth what they are asking, but hey, if you can get this type of education for it’s current price…I’d say do it!

After all, if you join and find out it was a bunch of bull, then you are out your hard earned cash that could have been spent elsewhere.

I am a member of Wealthy Affiliate and as far as I’m concerned it’s far from a scam.

I’ve fallen prey to some “make money online” scams in the past and it’s a relief to find a site where people are finding success.  Not only that, there are friendly and willing to help you find success as well.

Now I can sit here and tell you Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam until I’m blue in the face. But really you are the only one that can decide if it is just another online hustle.

Well, I have bad news.

I don’t think you are going to like this post if you had your mind set on making cash delivering hot pizzas in 30 minutes or less.

The other night my fiance and I ordered a pizza.  We usually go out, but since it was raining we decided to order in.

You can see why that job already sucks.  I don’t want to go out, but I don’t mind if you have to.  I know, it’s a pretty crappy thought on my part, but hey that is what I was thinking at the time.

I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Really, what are the advantages?  Free Pizza?

You have to drive your own car.

You pay your own gas.

If you are late people are pissed.

If the weather sucks you have to go out anyways.

Worst of all, people who order pizzas are horrible tippers!

Now I’m not saying don’t get a pizza delivery driver job.  But, I want you to know that there are other options.

I too once needed a quick job to make ends meet.  I ended up being a bus boy at an amusement park.  Trust me cleaning tables and sweeping floors was not my ideal job…but I needed the money.

Would I do it again?  No.

The reason is, I am now making money online.  I set the hours and I choose what I work on.

Wouldn’t you rather work from home than for someone at the local pizza parlor?

I don’t have to go out in bad weather and I don’t have to rely on a drunk college fraternity guy for my tip.

Take my advice look into making money online.  I’m not talking about the “Make Millions in a Week” infomercials you see at 2am.  I’m talking about real ways to make money online.   The ones myself and others just like you are using each and everyday.

The Shoemoney course is targeted at the absolute beginner in internet and affiliate marketing. However, even non beginners will learn a thing a two if they stick with the program.

I am a member of the system…how could I give you an honest review if I wasn’t?

The Shoemoney system is like a buffet for making money online. There are sections where you can grab a helping of “make money on eBay using arbitrage techniques”, a section for making money from “cpa”, you can grab a portion of “affiliate marketing” or even help youself to some “local mom and pop business marketing.”

Several videos are released each week. When I first started with the course it was moving way to slow for me. However, Jeremy listened to the feedback and has changed the pace at which it is delivered.  New members shouldn’t see the issues I had when starting out.

The Shoemoney system videos show Jeremy walking an absolute beginner through his techniques. One of the most fascinating sets of videos was on eBay arbitrage. Jeremy walks a young lady through the whole process of making $100 on eBay with no money out of her pocket. The whole process is filmed and presented in the course over a span of 3 videos. Pretty cool stuff, if you aren’t familiar with eBay arbitrage.

Now as you know I am also a member of Wealthy Affiliate University. So how does the battle of Shoemoney System vs Wealthy Affiliate University stack up?

Well, I think there is room for both.

I love Wealthy Affiliate University because of the forum and the members. There is so much help and support provided there, that it is almost impossible to fail at internet marketing if you pay attention to what the members tell you.

The Shoe Money System does not have a forum, but there is email support available if you should get stuck.

If you are looking to get your feet wet in all the different ways to make money online, the Shoemoney System definitely has you covered. However, that might not always be a good thing when starting out, because you tend to jump from technique to technique before really getting optimal results out of just one.

If you are looking to start making money online from home and think you are going to need some hand holding then Wealthy Affiliate may be better suited for you.

At $39/month Wealthy Affiliate is also much cheaper than the Shoemoney system which is currently $197/month.

Like I said, I am a member of both and have learned some great things from both of them. But depending on your goals online, I’d say that Wealthy Affiliate University is probably the better one to get started with if you think you are going to need some help along the way.

Don’t worry, there are plenty of courses available to help you make money online.

Here are some of the things you should look for…

1. Proven Results – Look for courses that others have been successful with.  Do your homework.  Search Google for reviews of the course by putting the course name plus the word review in quotes.  So in Google type in “Name of the program review” and see what you find.  Look out for people making up fake reviews.  They should be pretty easy to spot.  Use your common sense!  The course you end up picking should have happy customers who are seeing results they desire.
2. Focused Topics – The course you are following should be focused on one topic or have sections you can follow that focus on one topic at a time.  When starting out in Internet Marketing it is easy to get overwhelmed.  Some of these courses try to shove article marketing, video marketing, ppc, affiliate marketing and list building down your throat all at the same time.  This technique will never work.  You need to focus on one thing and one thing only.  Get your feet wet.  Get a little taste of success first and then you can branch out.
3. Support Group and Mentors – Find a marketing course that provides you support in the form of email support, an online forum, or a frequently asked questions section.  When you get stuck, you must be able to ask for help.  Many of the internet and affiliate marketing ebooks, do not offer help if you get stuck.  Although, you’ll have to shell out a few more bucks for a membership site, it may be worth it to join a community of like minded people that are willing to help you when you run into issues.  Many of the members on the most well respected sites have been where you are and found success.  The best part is they are more than willing to help you find success as well.
